Owners of the Bernerhof Inn, George and June Phillips, along with guest chefs will cater to your dining pleasures.

“We will, of course, continue to offer our famous Bernerhof Weiner Schnitzel, fondue and other Swiss delights,” stated Mrs. Phillips. “Often Inn guests will say for 3-4 nights and they will order the Schnitzel every night!”  The Black Bear Pub will have an enhanced pub menu with unique sandwich items, soups and stews.

The newest edition to the Inn is the Cy Bear Lounge. With free WIFI available, inn guests will be able to catch up on email while enjoying late morning coffee or afternoon tea and snacks. The lounge will open to the public for refreshments from the pub in the late afternoon. Perfect for après ski as well!

The Bernerhof Inn has been a Valley landmark since the 1880’s. The dining areas have all been redecorated to offer a cozy and comfortable atmosphere in keeping with the historic charm of the Inn. The Inn offers nine individually appointed guest rooms, many with 2-person Jacuzzi spa tubs and fireplaces.

The pub will be open 5 days a week, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Reservations are accepted, with a minimum 48 hour advance reservation. The restaurant, pub and lounge will be open for special parties and events by reservation.

George and June Phillips have owned Goldenwood Properties, dba, Bernerhof Inn and The Red Apple Inn since March 2003. The Red Apple Inn is a 17 room motel-style inn that caters to families and couples. Both inns are just minutes from several downhill and cross country ski areas as well as hiking, biking and tax free shopping.
