Most people take vacations during the winter, partially because of the time off they get for the holidays and because the kids tend to get quite a bit of time off from school between November and March.
A lot of times, though, people choose to go somewhere warm. Why? Well, when you live in snow, drive in snow, and work in snow, the beautiful, white, flaky substance can be a bit overwhelming. But, as we all know - the snow is something that can be enjoyed, too.

Have you heard the news? The Northeast is expecting to be hit with a “snow hurricane”. We’re not sure about you, but this is somewhat of a new concept for us. We’ve dealt with our share of blizzards in the past…but a “snow hurricane”? That sounds ominous, doesn’t it?

Just as we were about to believe we've entered a year of just 3 seasons, we are blessed with some awesome mild and fragrant air! Sue and Jim are all over the grounds adding new flowers as well as cleaning up the remnants of last winter's havoc. YES we did have a front porch under there didn't we?
