Friday night:  After a welcoming cocktail in the pub, the class will join Chef in the dining room where we will demonstrate how to make the famous Bernerhof Cheese Fondue.  The class will enjoy a dinner with 3 courses of fondue while tasting and pairing wines.

Pricing for the weekend is surprisingly inexpensive!  Be sure to check our the wonderful magazine article too.

 

Saturday:  Chef James will demonstrate and the class will prepare 3 mushroom strudel with herb mayonnaise.  Chef James feels that "strudel is fun, for me it exemplifies what being a chef is all about.  Pulling strudel is fun, preparing is creative and skillful.

Demonstrations will include knife skills, purchasing kitchen etiquette. 

The salads will focus on the freshest vegetables, ramps, leeks, fiddleheads will be featured. 

We are thinking about filleting a fresh salmon and preparing the entree from there.

A caramel flan with fresh berries is planned for dessert.

Saturday evening:  Chef James will give a demonstration on chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!  He is witty and entertaining in his demonstrations and the class enjoys while learning.

Sunday:  We will focus on a fresh spring soup, ca napes and finger foods.  Everything for a light brunch or cocktail party! 

Sunday after lunch, we will have our wrap up session and "graduation."
